Lochgilphead & Dunoon - West Highland Way Relay
Staff from our Lochgilphead and Dunoon offices are undertaking a huge challenge taking on the full 96 mile West Highland Way route from Milngavie to Fort William, on the 11th & 12th of September 2026.
A total of 11 members of staff from the two offices will take part in the relay over the two days (and nights!) to complete the 96 mile quest, all in aid of Marie Curie, Scottish Woodlands' chosen charity for 2026.

Rowan Hayes and Sergej Tjallema will start off by walking from Milngavie, over the scenic Conic Hill, before finishing in Balmaha.
From there, they’ll meet Harry McDonald and Fraser Wight (the fit ones!), who will attempt to walk and run the full length of Loch Lomond, finishing at Inverarnan — arguably the toughest section of them all.
The baton will then be passed to Bertie Welch and Dan Alton, who will get their head torches out for the first of 2 night stages, taking them through to Bridge of Orchy.
Waiting for them there will be the trio of George Smith, Jack Green and Eoghan Anderson, who will tackle the 21 mile stage over the Devil’s Staircase before arriving in Kinlochleven for a well-deserved breakfast!
Finally, the last team of James Feakins and John McCuish will take over for the final 15 miles and lead everyone across the finish line.

We wish the team every success as they take on this incredible challenge and if you can, please show your support by donating to Marie Curie.
