Irish Woodlands History

Scottish Woodlands Limited has rebranded the operations in the Republic of Ireland as Irish Woodlands to reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to its Irish client base and markets.

Irish Woodlands has had a presence in the Republic of Ireland for more than 35 years, serving clients requiring support with woodland creation, timber harvesting and marketing and forest management.

Since Storm Éowyn blew down over 12 Million cubic metres of timber in January 2025, the company has been involved in efforts to harvest and market a significant share in the north west of the island. Much of the timber has been exported to markets including the European continent, in addition to supplying the domestic markets.
