Scottish Woodlands looks forward to the Turriff Show

Scottish Woodlands is looking forward to attending the Turriff Show, the biggest two-day agricultural show in Scotland, where staff will take the chance to explain the many benefits of modern forestry. The show features over 300 exhibitor stands and is expected to welcome almost 25,000 people over the two days.

Six Scottish Woodlands employees, including Director of Investment and Business Development David Robertson, will be at the event, which takes place on Sunday 31 July and Monday 1 August at the Turriff show ground. Scottish Woodlands’ stand is located near the main arena on stand 38.

Mr Robertson said: “We are delighted to be back at one of Scotland’s iconic agricultural shows after two years of Covid cancellations."

“Scottish Woodlands has a long standing commitment to the north east of Scotland and we were really pleased to open our new Banchory office earlier this year. All our staff at the Turriff Show have in-depth knowledge of local, regional and national issues relating to forestry and the wider rural economy - and you can expect a warm welcome to the stand."

“Our staff will be very happy to chat and to answer any questions about how forestry and woodland creation can work as part of a rural business.”

In addition to Mr Robertson, Scottish Woodlands staff at the show will be Neil Crookston (Regional Manager North), Peter West (Senior Forest Manager), Niall Duncan (Harvest Manager), Oli Hands (Senior Forest Manager) and Alison Ainslie (Assistant Forest Manager).
