Gregor hits the Highland Show heights!
Senior Harvesting Manager Gregor Hamblin hit the heights during an action-packed four days at the Royal Highland Show's Forestry Arena.

Scottish Woodlands sponsors the Arena, which features a full programme of pole climbing, axe throwing, chainsaw carving and motorcycle stunt displays.

And Gregor ensured a 'home win' by triumphing in the pole climbing Novice Tree Surgeon category - scaling the 80ft Douglas fir tree trunk in an amazing time of 16.28 seconds.

The pole climbing captivated large crowds at the show, which ended with a weekend of sunshine after visitors dodged downpours during very mixed weather on Thursday and Friday.
As usual, the Scottish Woodlands stand beside the Forestry Arena had a regular stream of visitors throughout the annual rural fiesta.

David Robertson, Investment and Business Development Director for Scottish Woodlands, said: "It was a brilliant four days - and everyone was delighted that Gregor gained us a home win with his hugely impressive pole climbing performance."
"Most of the team were happy to stay at ground level and talk to existing clients and other show visitors who wanted to know more about forestry and the huge opportunities it presents."

"It's such an important event and I'd like to thank all the team who helped make it happen - and everyone who dropped by for a chat and a drink. We'll see you again next year and at the rest of the rural shows this year."
