Come and see us at the Scottish Game Fair in Scone

The GWCT Scottish Game Fair returns to Scone Palace in Perthshire from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 July and Scottish Woodlands is pleased to be there with our company stand explaining the many benefits of modern forestry.

This follows on from a successful stint at the Royal Highland Show where Scottish Woodlands were main sponsors of the forestry arena. Visitors to the arena were able to see pole climbing and axe throwing competitions alongside other displays showcasing the many skills foresters can acquire in the course of their work outdoors.

The 2022 Scottish Game Fair is held at the prestigious Scone Palace estate set across more than 300 acres of Perthshire countryside and is a big attraction for countryside enthusiasts from across the country. 30,000 visitors are expected to visit over the 3 days of the event.

The company’s stand at the Scottish Game Fair is located at W1 on the Woodland Row with representatives from our local offices specialising in new planting, forest management and timber harvesting. Members of our investment and carbon teams will also be on hand.

David Robertson, Director of Investment and Business Development for Scottish Woodlands, said: “We are delighted to be back at the Scottish Game Fair again after our successful participation in the event last September.

“Scottish Woodlands is proud to take part in these rural events throughout the country and support rural enterprises as outdoor activities get back to business after pandemic related disruptions.

“Our staff at the Scottish Game Fair look forward to welcoming you in person and answering your questions about how forestry and woodland creation can work as part of your rural business.”
