A fantastic 2025 Royal Highland Show
Fantastic weather, great chat with clients old and new - and a pole climbing world record!
The four days of the Royal Highland Show 2025 were a real success for Scottish Woodlands Ltd, which sponsored the busy Forestry Arena.
The highlight of the arena events was Dan Whelan achieving a new world pole climbing record!
Scottish Woodlands staff also took part in the pole climbing, which is always great fun (especially when watching someone else do it!) and axe throwing. There was lots more going on in the arena, including chainsaw carving and stunt bike displays.
David Robertson, Investment and Business Development Director at Scottish Woodlands, said: "We were delighted to attend the show for the full four days, with our stand situated beside the forestry arena, which we were delighted to sponsor again, meaning we had the best view of the famous pole climbing!”
"We had plenty of staff there every day and met so many clients and contacts, and had some fantastic chats about forestry, wood and life in general - often over a drink. It was great to see so many people there, in such brilliant Scottish weather, and we look forward to seeing you there again next year!"
