Youngsters find out about rural careers


Scottish Woodlands Ltd has attended an event to inform young people about the exciting range of rural careers available in Scotland.


School pupils from S1-S6 took part in a mixture of interactive sessions to get a taste of future jobs in the great outdoors.

Adam Stokes, Regional Harvesting and Marketing Manager, and Lynne MacDonald, HR Manager, attended the Countryside Careers Event on behalf of Scottish Woodlands.

The event was held at the Valentin's Education Farm on the Prince's Foundation's Dumfries House Estate, near Cumnock in Ayrshire.
