General Recruitment

As a growing organisation, we are looking to recruit less experienced individuals to train up and develop their skills as an integral part of a succession management plan.

We are therefore seeking applications from graduates and from those with less experience who hold Forestry qualifications and from other disciplines who wish to embark in a Forestry career.

Candidates with experience in the Utilities sector i.e. Vegetation clearance works, minor civil works and other forestry operations are also welcome to apply.

We are seeking candidates with ambition and drive to commence and progress their careers within Scottish Woodlands.

Candidates will be matched to locations where their level of qualification and experience best meets the line management structure within our Forestry Regions and will be given appropriate training as part of a development tailored to suit their individual requirements.

In return, together with personal and career development opportunities, Scottish Woodlands offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.

Scottish Woodlands offers an attractive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. This includes pension scheme, life assurance, private health care, company vehicle and the opportunity for equity participation. The company has a unique structure and is 80% owned by staff. Applicants will also be given excellent personal and career development opportunities and will be part of a highly professional and motivated team.
