Scottish Woodlands Ltd is a major supplier of energy wood to the biomass energy market. We hold supply contracts with the main users across the country. We can also assist clients with other renewable energy technologies such as wind and hydro.
Our strategy is to evolve our expansion into this important new field so as to maximise the opportunities for our clients at local, regional and national levels. As one example, we recently developed stump extraction and processing as a mechanism to produce energy-wood and help the restocking of the successor forest.
We have expertise within the company on small-scale woodchip boilers, small-scale and micro-hydro generation, windfarm development, digital mapping and contract negotiation. We can also partner with a range of consultants and specialists to help our clients get the best deal in the relevant sector of renewables which interests them.
