Scottish Woodlands is the largest supplier of private sector timber in Scotland. The Company market in excess of 500,000m3 of timber annually. The bulk of the timber is marketed within the UK to over 100 industrial wood users. When economic conditions dictate, Scottish Woodlands have the expertise and contacts to actively encourage export of timber to Scandinavia and other outlets within Western Europe. The company offers a woodland fire and storm damage insurance scheme for owners. Growing crops be covered for fire only, or fire and storm. Property Owner’s Liability (POL) insurance cover is part of the package. The scheme renews annually on 1st October every year.
