Scottish Woodlands has been working on a number of projects in over 10 European countries over the past 5 years. In 1999 the Company opened a Branch Office in Zilina, Slovakia, which manages the Company's interests in the Central and Eastern Europe Region.

Scottish Woodlands has also developed a network of timber processing capabilities in Central and Eastern Europe which currently supply the Dutch, Danish and UK markets. The Company has been instrumental in the development of FSC certified supply chains from Hungary, Latvia and Slovakia into major retailers in Holland and the UK. The Company is currently working with key distributors in target countries which enable small deliveries to be made to a wide range of small and medium size timber manufacturers and users.
